Deanna Feierman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and is certified in the treatment of trauma and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She is trained in motivational interviewing, psychopharmacology for mental health professionals, assessments, treatments and interventions for Alzheimers disease and other dementias, and crisis intervention from FEMA. Deanna treats dually-diagnosed patients at Silver Lake and has experience working with children and adolescents.
She is currently a Program Supervisor, and is Silver Lake’s lead for crisis management, as well as the coordinator for the Silver Lake Internship Program.
Deanna was born and raised in Brooklyn within a tight knit community. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2010 and with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2012 from the College of Staten Island, CUNY.
